Every great product has secret formula.Coca-Cola legendary recipe is locked deep wothin the valults beneath its atlanata headquarters. KFC mixes diffrent parts of its 11 herbs and spices at the three sparate facilities to safeguard the colonel’s secret blend.And McDonald’s hunted down its orginal special sauce mix for big macs last year as part of its turnaround effort .

JONES SODA, the small seattle soft drink marker , has its own secret ingrafient-one that has created buzz,produced 30 persont of bution partners such as starbucks and Target ,and brought in $34 milion in annual revence . That ingredients : a small but growing follwing of devout customers. These are not just any customers Jones Sod knows its niche.it targeted young buyers 12 to 24 years old who appreciate the brand’s wacky, irreverent attitude. By focusing on those coustomers , listening to them.and giving them what they want , Jones Soda is thriving inthe the shadows of the soft drink giants.


The best commercial ever made


The advertisor was apple,the product was new Macintash and the client -the person handeling advertising responsibility and making decisions - was steve jobs, apple's CEO and co-founder, who wanted "a tunderclap" ad.The agency was california-based chiat/day.The medium was televison's super Bowl.The supplier was legendary british film director.The audience was the 96 million people watching super Bowl xvlll that day in januray 1984, and the target audience was those in the audience who were trying to decide whether they should buy a personal computer.

It s basic principle in advertising:The combination of the right product ate the right time in the right place with all the right people involved can create something magical- job's thunderclap.


The story line was take off on Goarge orwell's science-fiction novel about the sterile mind-controlled world of 1984.An audience of mindless gray skinned drones whatch the masive skrin image of "big brother" spouting an ideologic diatribe. And then athletic young woman throws a large sledgehammer at the screen.the dronce see the light.in the last shot announcer reads only words in the commercial as they appear on screen: "On january 24th . Apple computer will interduce Machintash.And you'll see why 1984 wont't be like 1984".


On January 24 long lines formed outside computer stores carrying Apples,and the entire inventory sold out in the one day.The intial sales goal of 50,000 units was easilly suppassed by
72,000 unit sold in the first100 days and more would have been sold if Apple had been able to keep up with the damand.



The 1984 commercial is one of the most talked about and most remmbered commercials ever made, The best of the decade, the best 50 commercial ever made,etc. Every time there is a list of the best commercials . it sit at the top and containuse to recive accolades into the twenty first century.
